Em-Browser is a tool for embedded software and hardware developers that allows them to control their hardware with an iPhone 4s using an Emmoco EDB-BLE development board. Em-Browser works with the Emmoco tools that allow a developer to create and edit a schema that defines the embedded resources in their hardware that can be read and written. Developers can rapidly prototype the Bluetooth Low Energy interface to their products in advance of building a custom iOS application.
Features:
- works with Emmocos EDB-BLE Bluetooth Low Energy development boards which connect to any embedded microcontroller via a serial UART interface. The EDB-BLE is also a TI Launchpad BoosterPack, allowing developers to quickly build embedded applications for the MSP430 that are controlled over Bluetooth Low Energy with the iPhone 4s.
- Emmoco development board users can develop schemas that describe the capabilities of their hardware using the Emmoco tool Em-Builder. The Em-Browser app can download them and use them to help you debug your hardware and firmware.
- Even without an Emmoco development board you can experiment and try out the Em-Browser to gain an understanding of how the Emmoco schema language works.
